First Month Report of the Lithotripsy and CT Scanning Units Lithotripsy Unit: 30 males - 13 females CT Scanning Unit: 130 males - 121 females

Our teams have been working for three months on establishing specialized medical facilities that provide quality and free of charge service to patients in Afrin and the surrounding areas. The result of which has been the establishment and preparation of the following: 1- CT Scan Unit 2- ESW Lithotripsy Unit (The first of its kind in the region) Today, with the help of God, in the presence of the governor of Hatay Mr. Mustafa Masatlı, and the esteemed guests, we have opened these new units in Al-Shifa Hospital in Afrin to service. We pray to God to accept everyone's contributions to this project.

More than a million and a half people live in the Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch areas. Poverty, disease and unemployment are widely spread among them, especially since most of them are displaced. The region suffers from a lack of free, quality medical services, and the situation worsened after the devastating earthquake in early February 2023. In response to the urgent need, Wifak Humanitarian Association is establishing the following medical departments in Al-Shifa Hospital in Afrin: - CT Scan Department - Laser Lithotripsy Department, using a NOVAmedtek device, the first of its kind in the region. The departments will go into service by August 2023, and will be completely free of charge
